Escuela Verde Te Quiero Verde

In order to raise awareness in the school community about the need to protect our natural resources, Santillana and the Association of Private Education of Puerto Rico presented the First Competition of Environmental Projects: Green School, I love green. "
Green school, I want you green is a competition for environmental projects aimed at students, teachers and student associations of schools affiliated to the Puerto Rico Private Education Association.

To enter, contestants must submit an essay that contains a description of an environmental project carried out in a school or community. The essay must be accompanied by photographs or videos that demonstrate the efforts made for the environment at school in the community. Projects can be on cleaning the school or community, tree planting, recycling projects, guidance on measures to improve the environment, environmental education courses offered at school or ecology club, among others.

The contest ends on February 11, 2011 and the awards will be distributed on February 23, 2011, at the Convention of the PR Private Education  at the PR Convention Center. Winners will receive cash prizes in different categories.
CL Water Cops feel very proud to partner with the  Mater Salvatoris school for the completion of this project. It will be a very interesting and enriching experience for both students of  the Environmental Science Club and for master trainers who will be the "coaches" of these "Water Cops".
