Field Trip to Caño Martin Peña and the Rio Piedras
Todya, Gamaliel Carmona and myself will go to Rio Piedras, specifically near the Botanical Gardens and the Caño Martin Peña to do a "muestreo" or take a few data samples. Specifically, we will collect data in different places. Among the tasks to perform in this first voyage is to measury the levels of temperature, pH, turbidity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and nitrates. The use of a GPS to collect the exact location of the samples facilitates making a geographic analysis by creating dynamic models in ArcGIS Explorer (by ESRI).
